2008 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to 2008 - Hurrah!!

I have been very busy lately working in the bookshop in the big lead up to Christmas and the New Year Sales, and have not had much time to come here and update you all on the progress of The Colour Studio.

But it's now 2008, and it's time to think about doing more work for myself and promoting my artwork in a much bigger and more exciting way than ever before!

I came across the following statement somewhere last year and have decided to make it my own for the coming months:

2008

Make art.

Get it out there.

Do what I have to do so that as many people see my art as possible.

Prove that I’m a going concern,

That I’m in this for the duration,

I’m committed.

I’m not going to give up,

And that nothing will stop me.

Soon, others will begin believing in me just like I believe in myself,

And that's when good things start happening!

I thought that this would be good to hang on my wall and remind me to keep going and to enjoy all the hard work that I will be putting in this year. I look forward to receiving your comments and of course to selling my work.
