Getting a feel for colours

I've just finished playing around with some colour ideas for my next piece.

Whenever I see a collection of colours that look really good together I write them down, so I end up with lots of little lists of colour all over my sketch book! I wonder, does anyone else do the same?

Today I did a small experiment with a new glue pen I found last week (I'll be adding fine coloured glitter to each painting to give it that extra sparkle). This glue comes in the form of a ball-point pen - and writes just like a pen would - very fine lines and patterns can be created this way, rather than having big blobs of glue in places you don't really want. It's acid free and photo safe. The pen is called 'Stiki-Glue Pen' made by LP Creative.

Click here to go straight to the pen on their website, http://www.lpcreativecrafts.com/, it looks like a great place for craft products for adults, kids and teachers, and they also have a large collection of craft projects to download.
